Every piece begins with a stone I've chosen myself. I hand-pick each Australian opal for its colour, its fire, its own particular character — then set it in solid gold fill or sterling silver, one piece at a time. Nothing here is mass-produced or duplicated. When you wear a Heartsmiths piece, you're wearing something made specifically, deliberately, by hand.

A Shared Art Vision
I'm a metalsmith myself. I trained in Bali under master silversmiths, and today I make every piece of opal jewelry side by side with them. This is Pak Made, one of the craftsmen I work with. When I bring him a design, he doesn't just execute it. He questions it, refines it, makes it better. That conversation between his decades of mastery and my own hands at the bench is where the magic happens.
Pak Ketut, another master silversmith I collaborate with, brings his own expertise to every project. Together we hand-set genuine Australian opals in sterling silver and gold fill, carrying on a tradition of Balinese metalwork that spans generations.
A real opal can't be poured into a mould. Every stone is shaped by nature alone, so every setting has to be made by hand, around that one stone, one piece at a time. No factory could ever make this. It exists once, and once it's yours, it's gone.
