Terms & Conditions

 

These terms apply to every order placed on heartsmiths.nl.

 

1. Seller. Heartsmiths, Oeverwalhof 20, 1349 JE Almere, the Netherlands. KvK 93719914, VAT NL001883110B20. Email helloheartsmiths@gmail.com.

2. Products. Every piece is handmade with a natural Australian opal, so each stone is unique. Photos show the actual piece or stone where stated; colors can look slightly different on screens.

3. Prices. All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping is free.

4. Order and contract. Your order is a binding contract once you receive our order confirmation by email.

5. Payment. Payment is made at checkout through the payment methods offered. Your order ships after payment is received.

6. Delivery. We ship within 1 business day. Delivery times are listed in our Shipping Policy. The risk of loss passes to you once the order is delivered.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns. You may return any piece within 30 days of delivery, as described in our Returns & Refunds policy. This includes your legal 14-day right of withdrawal.

8. Guarantee. Every piece carries a 1-year guarantee against manufacturing defects. Your legal rights under Dutch and EU consumer law remain in full.

9. Care. Opals are natural stones. Damage from water, chemicals, impacts or heat, or from not following the care instructions, is not covered.

10. Liability. Our liability is limited to the price of the product concerned, except where the law does not allow this limit.

11. Privacy. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Complaints. Contact us first at helloheartsmiths@gmail.com; we reply within 3 business days. EU customers can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Law. Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of your own country’s consumer law.
